Yves Kwameh
Strategic UX/UI Designer & No-code Developer
Available for work
I’m Yves Kwameh, a UX/UI designer and no-code developer. I design digital products and build websites in Webflow and Framer. I start by understanding what the business needs and what people are trying to do, then work out how the design can help.
I enjoy taking a project from the first idea through to a working website. I’m curious about how things are built, so I keep learning beyond design. That understanding also helps me explain what I need when I’m working with someone else.
Clients describe me as reliable. I care about the relationships behind the work, and I want the people I work with to know they can count on me to show up and follow through.
Outside work, I’m usually cooking, watching a film, playing a game, or taking photographs. I’m drawn to streets, landscapes, and nature. I like making things even when there’s no brief, just something I want to try.

The idea
A portfolio that behaves like an operating system. You land on a lock screen, you get a desktop, and the work sits in windows you open yourself.
I design interfaces, so it made more sense to build one than to write about it.
What it runs on
- Astro 7
- Static build. Every page is finished HTML before anyone asks for it, so there is no server deciding anything at request time.
- Plain TypeScript
- No React, no Vue, no framework. The things that move are small files that do one job each.
- Plain CSS
- Every colour, size and duration lives in one tokens file, so changing the accent is one line.
- Cloudflare Workers
- Serves the files from their edge. Exactly one path is not a file: /ws, which is the socket behind the cursors.
- Durable Objects
- Holds everyone who has the site open at the same time, so you can watch each other move around. It sleeps when the room is empty.
- Space Mono
- Colophon Foundry. Self-hosted, latin only, both weights. One typeface for the chrome, the body and the captions.
- Web3Forms
- Takes whatever you write in the Mail window and puts it in my inbox.
- GitHub
- Pushing to main is the deploy. Cloudflare builds that commit and ships it.
